We started working with Paul after a referral from Wolfburn Distillery nearly two years ago. He’s understood our business, ethos and vision from the outset. With just a name for our distillery and a blank piece of paper, he’s straightaway moulded the essence of our brand, culture of our company and that is evident in everything we do today.

Off the back of this, the awareness of our brand is going from strength to strength in the U.S. and is being widely recognised by consumers. Paul continues to define our success and working with him has been nothing short of brilliant. He is an consummate professional and continues to deliver on our ambitions. All in all, an absolute joy to work with and hiring him was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made as a business.

Paul’s just what you’re looking for in a Studio Manager; patient, resourceful, pragmatic and not without a sense of humour. He’ll always try his hardest to make sure resource needs are met, and I’ve seen how hard he works at maintaining relationships with our freelancers. And he doesn’t just sit behind his mac and hope for the best; he can often be found stalking the client services team and making sure everything is going to plan – I think we call it collaboration! He’s a good guy too, which helps massively.

Paul offers everything a good studio manager should. Safe hands, a resourcefulness that can only be admired and a calm head when things get tough. As a freelancer I’ve only ever found Paul to be fair and honest, encouraging and supportive, where his skills as traffic manager are equalled by his expertise in artwork and production. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Paul.

Paul is a very skilled and experienced creative artworker, and a great studio manager. He’s a calm, capable and reassuring presence in the office, and I always felt in safe hands when he was managing and scheduling me.

Paul began working with the Wolfburn team in 2012, there was no logo, no website, no social media presence, nothing. From a blank canvas, over the space of four years, Paul has single handedly created a class-leading brand. There are other new entrants to the single malt whisky market, but none has the brand presence or penetration of Wolfburn. It is largely due to Paul’s hard work and creativity that our whisky has become a global success story.

Having worked with Paul on some very high profile events in my previous role at the Sir Steve Redgrave Trust, I had no hesitation at all in approaching him to work with me when I started at WellChild. As usual, Paul’s creative input was outstanding and his creative has formed the basis of many new campaigns.

It was a delight to work with Paul, he took over the design and production of our catalogue and marketing material with ease and quickly understood our brand and culture. Most importantly Paul delivered on time and on budget.

Paul is extremely collaborative and just ‘gets’ a brief when you talk to him: when you talk through a project with him, he’s really quick to interpret your needs as well as provide creative recommendations. He’s really quick, very flexible and has a heap of experience and knowledge which means he can offer guidance on all types of design collateral and materials.
